TRIVENI KA SANGAM

  TRIVENI KA SANGAM

There was a small tea shop beside a huge bus stand, in which an old man named KHAN was keeping plates in order. It was late 10’o clock at night and today it was strange to see that KHAN was not at all happy by seeing customers gathered behind his tea shop. His old body was completely tired after doing a lot of work. He was sneezing moment after moment.
His both children’s, Kishan and Hani went to friend’s birthday party and that’s why he has to do a lot of work today. His cold and cough increased and it was not at all possible for him to work for a second now. At last he closed his shop and fell down to bed. He shouted for water but there was no one in that lonely house except him who could listen his pain.
At the last hours of a person’s life it’s obvious that the past events will flow as like film in his mind. The situation was almost same with KHAN. He went into the dream of pasts…….”That time KHAN’S age was round about 25 yrs. Poverty has made his big and strong body, helpless. One day when KHAN was going for Namaz, he found two babies crying and weeping on the Mosque’s stairs. He thought them as God’s gift and takes them to his home and treated them as like as his wards. Moreover he also proclaimed that from today he will not think of any more children.  When he takes them for bath, he found cross sign necklace in girl child and a small mala having Bajrangbali icon in boy child. That day only he decided to named girl child ‘HANI’ and boy child ‘KISHAN’. He opened a tea shop beside bus stand and started to care of his children’s with full dedication and enthusiasm. The days crossed like this. When Hani and Kishan started growing, he send them to nearby school. Both of them were brilliant and fair. One day when his both children came to home after getting 1st rank in their respectively classes, Khan felt very happy and congratulated them and gave them sweets. After this he told them that he wants them to see as a top class officer and started crying. The tears fell down into Hani’s sameez and both children after seeing their Baba in tears decided that from today what Baba will say, they will do.
As Kishan was a boy so Khan was not worried at all about him but as Henna was a girl so Khan was worried about her marriage.
“ladki baap ke liye bojh nahi hoti, ladki ki khuusiyan baap ke liye bojh hai. Uska sundar tatha uzzwal bhawishya baap ki wastawik  prassana hoti hai.”
Both Hani and Kishan went to college for their higher studies and Khan also encouraged them. Simultaneously the condition of health of Khan Deturated rapidly and burden of works increased rapidly. But then too Khan was happy.
“Raat chahe kitni andheri hoi, din ka uzala zarur aata hai.”
Time passed .The both children pass out 12th and gone to B.A. Till today no one came in Hani’s personal life. This was due to her self respect and the words said by her Baba:
“Beti! Tasviren path jaya karti hain, dharkane rook jaya karti hain, jeesham ki javaani saam ki tarah dhal jati hai magar insaan ki zamir uski maut ke baad bhi jivit rahti hai”
Birthday party ended at round about 2’o clock at night. Hani and Kishan decided to go home. While travelling at that late night at lonely road, they both feared from strange enemy. There was totally dark all over which seems that whole world was sleeping that time. Hani was travelling from right side and Kishan was travelling from left side of the road. Suddenly Kishan heard the sound of the screech of break. Both of their eyes turned darked due to car’s headlight and they both were shocked. After this the car passed away from Hani and she started to shout. She started to count her last seconds and after that Kishan came to her and told that nothing will happen to her.                                                             Hani told K…..is…han..ba…ba….ka…….khyal……and died. Kishan only understood her words. Kishan’s heart broke away. The person who was riding the car shows his humanity and faith and came to Kishan. They both hold Hani in their shoulder and take her to the car. Then Kishan reached to his Baba’s tea shop. He shouted “baba, baba but he was not answered. Thousand of thought came into his mind and in full strange situation he did no what to do .At last he break the door and after seeing inside, it seems that thunder struck his head. His baba passed away.
When sun rise, many people came to him .The condition was miserable and sorrow as:
“mano chandrama khistij par hi tha. Chandni udashi thi. Tare bhi mano sabnam ke aasoon baha rahe the.”
Kishan with help of his four friends, takes his baba’s “aarthi” in his shoulder for “aantim kriya.” to “kabragah” They only walk for few miles than they saw that 10 to 12 persons are coming to them with stick. One of them shouted ‘stop.’ The Kishan stopped and asked what happened?? Why you are stopping me??
They asked ‘whose body is these?’
Kishan told that you don’t have any power to ask whose body is these.
They told that they have heard that you are Hindu and are taking the body of Muslim.
He told that “yes, it’s right. What’s a need to know or ask these???
There eyes became red and they told that first you have killed Khan and now you are going to “kabragah.”
Kishan became very angry and started to walk. The people came to him and beated him badly and he too died.
“Mano logo ne aaj triveni ke sangam tor diya.”
